Our Yarns
All our yarn bases are mulesing free and OEKO-TEX® certified. We support organic, recycled, and GOTS standards.
We only work with suppliers who are committed to ethical farming and sustainable practices.
Additionally, the yarns we select must feel high quality and pleasant to work with!

FIBER CONTENT & CARE
Hand-dyed yarn colors may vary per skein, even if they are made in the same batch.
We recommend that you alternate skeins as you work to avoid obvious demarcation in your finished product.
For best results, always wash bright, dark, and light shades separately when washing.

Lace Weight
70% Super Kid Mohair, 30% Silk
1 ply
1 hank = 437 yds / 400 meters
50gMohair is the hair of the Angora Goat, which lends a delicate halo to every project it graces. It is a fluffy, wispy fiber held together around a solid core that makes it knittable.
Gauge varies: Lace weight yarns are usually knitted or crocheted on larger needles and hooks to create lacy, openwork patterns. Held with another yarn, it adds a little bit of thickness but also adds softness and fluff to the finished fabric. A good rule of thumb is that a strand of mohair adds about a weight category to your base yarn. Accordingly, a gauge range is difficult to determine. Always follow the gauge stated in your pattern.
Hand wash, use mild detergent, do not bleach, dry flat away from direct sunlight.
